Abhi works in UNSW's Cyber Security team as the Security Controls Assurance Manager.

He has 8 years of deep expertise in Offensive Security and overall 16+ years of experience in IT, including penetration testing, red teaming, secure code reviews, and adversary simulation. He has led the delivery of complex security assessments across On-prem, Hybrid, Cloud, SaaS, OT, Generative AI applications in enterprise environments, both in Australia and internationally.

Abhi has worked for renowned firms like Accenture, where he led a broad portfolio of penetration testing and offensive security engagements across critical sectors, including government, financial services, healthcare, and energy. He has also presented at major cyber forums, including BlackHat USA. Abhi holds a range of highly regarded security certifications like OSCP, GXPN and CISSP.

He is passionate about innovation in security testing and mentoring new generation of Offensive Security professionals.

In his spare time, Abhi enjoys Generative AI security research, drone security research, CTFs, and has even contributed to the discovery of a CVE.
