Dr. Srinibas Swain is a Lecturer in the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati.

He holds an M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and a Ph.D. from Monash University, Melbourne. His research interests include Theoretical Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Computer Science Education.

Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Swain worked at Oracle Corporation for 3.5 years, where he played a significant role in the release of Oracle 11gR2. He subsequently joined Nevales Networks Pvt. Ltd., a network security startup, where he served as a technical lead and was instrumental in establishing the company’s cloud infrastructure.
